On a Mission

Many pets in the United States are given man made medicine that can harm and even kill them after prolonged use. While cannabidiol (CBD) is becoming popular amongst American society some don’t know that it can be used on animals. Cannabidiol is a natural supplement that can change your pets life. This website provides information about CBD in hopes to raise awareness about the supplement so it may become the alternative to man made prescriptions. A pet can not tell you if the medicine you are giving them is impairing their life. By switching to cannabidiol your worries can be lifted.

CBD Simplified

Natural comfort for your pet

What is it?

Cannabidiol (CBD) is a natural supplement extracted from the hemp plant in the form of an oil. Although it comes from the hemp plant it has no psychoactive affects and is incapable of getting your pet “high”. CBD has been studied since 1940 and has been identified as being very powerful and has many medicinal benefits. It is impossible for an animal to overdose on CBD, and has been proven to be non addictive. Cannabidiol is legal in all 50 states and is heavily supported by the World Health Organization and the United States National Institute of Health.

How it works

In both cats and dogs there is an endocannabinoid system (ECS) that aids in functions such as sleep, immune system responses, pain, and memory. When CBD enters the body, the endocannabinoid system registers it though its cannabinoid respecters, CB1 and CB2. The CB1 receptor is found in the brain and the CB2 receptor is found in the cells of the immune system. Once the CBD reaches these receptors any imbalance in the body returns to proper function.

Benefits

After years of research scientists have found that cannabidiol harbors many wonderful benefits for your pet. These are only a few:

  • Relieves pain

  • Reduces tumor growth

  • Eases stress and anxiety

  • Anticonvulsant

  • Fights cancer

  • Helps with aggression

  • Generates bone growth

  • Combats motion sickness

  • Alleviates skin conditions

  • Anti-inflammatory

  • Reduces  itching

  • Soothes rashes and hot spots

  • Fights allergens

Your pet doesn’t need to have a medical condition in order to use CBD. It can be used as a daily vitamin to enhance your pets

everyday health.

Forms

Cannabidoil comes in many forms available for both dogs and cats. These include, tinctures, sprays, shampoos, edibles, topicals, and pills. These items can be purchased through the Internet or in stores. When giving your pet these products size and weight is to be considered, smaller pets need less CBD per dose. The type of product will play a roll in dosage as well, normally there will be instructions on the package. Most of the time CBD does not work immediately, it will take a week of use before any signs of relief is noticeable.

Some things to consider when purchasing CBD: Quality should be the number one priority when it comes to your pets health. If the product is cheap it is more than likely not a good deal, not all CBD is good CBD. Do your research on the company and always make sure the cannabidoil is 100% organic. Good companies usually have lab results to back up their authenticity and purity. Research the three types of CBD, which are broad spectrum, full spectrum, and isolate, then you decide which is best for your beloved pet.
